In this interactive food demo, taught by Certified Holistic Nutritionist Mukta Gadkari, you’ll learn how to make a simple lacto-fermented sauerkraut using two ingredients: cabbage & salt.

Fermentation is an ancient food preservation technique going back centuries and a fantastic way to not only store nutrient-dense food, but to also unlock its full nutritional power. Eating lacto-fermented foods like sauerkraut helps repopulate healthy gut bacteria in the body, improve digestion and support a strong immune system.
