SMCPC SPM Sound Healing to Embody Inner Peace

Join San Mateo County Pride Center and the Banyan Tree Women's Collective for this healing event in honor of Suicide Prevention Month.

Collective care in challenging times is the most important action you can take to protect your mental health.    In honor of Suicide Prevention month the Banyan Wellness Team invites you to join us for 90 minutes of sound healing, breathwork, meditation and journaling. Come as you are with an open mind to embrace stillness and rest while being witnessed by your community. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, and pillow as you will be lying down for most of the experience. You can improve your experience by preparing in the following ways:

  • Come with a digested stomach

  • Bring your thermal mug for tea

  • Water bottle

  • Journal and Pen

  • Optional eye mask

Accessibility information about The Belmont Public Library: 

  • The Belmont Public Library is located at 1110 Alameda de las Pulgas, Belmont, 94002

  • There is a designated parking lot as well as street parking available.

  • The Belmont Public Library is close to the SamTrans 295 stop at Alameda de las Pulgas & Belmont Library.

  • The Taube Room will open at 6pm and activities will start at 6:15pm.

  • There are gendered restroom spaces with ADA accessible stalls towards the front, and an individual, gender-neutral ADA accessible restroom inside the library.

  • This Pride Center event at the Belmont Public Library is a weapon and substance free Sober space.
