This class is for anyone interested in learning more about the impact of substance use on mental health, anyone currently engaged in substance use looking for support around stopping or reducing use, anyone living with or caring for someone engaged in substance use. Participants will learn basics around how various substances impact mental health, initial steps one can take to begin recovery, steps one can take to reduce the harm of substance use, where to find support/ resources for treatment, mindset shifts, and strategies to identify and implement change. This is an open, non-judgmental space to discuss a difficult topic that many need support with but is often seen as taboo.
