How do you protect your peace? Our ancestors came together to be in community, to storytell with their words and their bodies, to share meals together. This is where healing lies for us all. This event is open to all women and non-gender conforming folks.  This is a mini one day retreat offering multiple modalities of wellness and self care. 

Space is limited and we ask that you only register if you can for sure attend.

In this holistic beauty workshop, learn about the major toxins you’re exposed to and how they can impact your skin, health, and overall well-being. You’ll then be introduced to various herbs, foods, beauty tools, and self-care practices that support your body in getting rid of unwanted wastes and toxins naturally. In the true spirit of holistic beauty, you will gain a solid understanding of how to nourish and beautify your skin from the inside out. Students will leave with two herbal remedies that they’ll be able to recreate at home as well as simple do-it-yourself (DIY) recipes to share with family and friends.

12-12:30pm I Sara I ZOOM- Savory Snacks with Sara: Miso - Tahini dip with roasted veggies. Sara will walk you through preparing a tasty, nutrient-dense snack of miso-tahini dip with roasted & raw veggies, crackers, and pita.

5-5:30pm I Carmen I ZOOM- Animal Flow: This class is a ground based bodyweight class that encourages improved mobility, increased flexibility, enhanced stability and balance. We will emphasize in keeping our movements fluid and transition from one position/exercise to the next smoothly.

5-6:00pm I Carmen I ZOOM- Calisthenics (45min) / Stretch (15min): The main focus of the Calisthenics Classes is to build a better fitness base by using your own bodyweight as resistance to perform multi-jount, compound movements. We will take you through a mix of upper-body, lower-body, and core exercises with little to no equipment. ALL FITNESS LEVELS are welcome to join!

6:15-7:15pm I Chantal I ZOOM - Detox Tonic cooking demo: Warming, blood moving herbs are an important way to prevent stagnation, a buildup of toxins, and flus and colds in the winter season. Learn how to make a warming, stimulating, and cleansing tea that is great to sip on during times of illness, slow metabolism, poor digestion, and for regular health maintenance. Look for the recipe in the files section in the Facebook group one week before class to follow along.

In this practice, we will counteract the sluggish mornings with a potent energizing Kriya to bring you vitality to take charge of your morning and create lasting boosts of energy for the rest of your day. What you will need: A quiet space, yoga mat, and bolster or cushion to sit on for extra comfort.

12-12:30pm I Krystle I ZOOM- Lunchtime yoga flow: Reminder that it's ok to take a break! Midday movement to recalerbrate the mind, body and spirit. This practice does not require a mat but a chair will be helpful. We will sit in the chair or use it for balance. A chair without arms is best.

6-7pm I Mel I ZOOM- Dance and Stretch: Join Mel for an easy to follow dance class with a relaxing stretch session at the end of class. Clear a apace in your room and get ready to move your body! It is ideal to have a mat for the stretch portion fo class.

8-8:50am I Joanne I ZOOM - Kickboxing: This medium-to-high intensity cardio class uses the fundamentals of kickboxing, in a fun, high-powered environment. Using a variety of simple punch and kick combinations, along with boxer’s footwork, this class is designed to build endurance, tone muscles and increase agility. 4-6pm I Chantal I ZOOM- Food Prepping for Accountability: Food prepping is one of the best habits to develop for your wellness. Come with your own menu to cook or join Chantal to cook her simple and easy to follow dishes that allow you to mix and match for multiple meals to help keep you on track of your food intake. Protein sources will be given for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Recipes can be found in the files section in the Facebook group one week before the class to allow time for shopping.

12-12:30pm I Divya I ZOOM- Energize with Carbs: Join Divya for a fun and energizing Zoom class celebrating the delicious world of carbohydrates, our body's natural energy source. Discover the power of carbs to leave you feeling invigorated and satisfied!

5-6:00pm I Carmen I ZOOM- Calisthenics (45min) / Stretch (15min): The main focus of the Calisthenics Classes is to build a better fitness base by using your own bodyweight as resistance to perform multi-jount, compound movements. We will take you through a mix of upper-body, lower-body, and core exercises with little to no equipment. ALL FITNESS LEVELS are welcome to join!

6:30-7:45pm I Chantal I ZOOM - Reflect and Reset Yoga Nidra: journal prompt, intention setting, yoga nidra, leading up to the full moon. We will use this time to drop into your deepest state of consciousness where deep rest, spacious awareness and connection back to Self is experienced. You will be guided to reflect on where you are now, and to reset yourself to take on whatever is coming in this next moon cycle. What you will need: a journal, pen, somewhere quiet and comfortable to lie down (bed or mat with some padding works), pillow, blanket, and a small rolled up towel under your knees if you have lower back issues.

6-6:15am I Mel I FB LIVE - Accountability

6:30-7:15am I Mel I ZOOM - Morning Sound for higher vibrational living: You will need a quiet space and a place to lie down. Optimal items for comfort: earbuds for optimal sound, eye-mask, pillow, blanket, journal and pen.

8:30-9:15am I Joanne I ZOOM - POP Pilates: POP Pilates is a total body, equipment-free workout that sculpts a rock solid core and a lean dancer's body like nothing else can. You will need an open space, a mat, water and towel. All levels welcome!

12-12:30pm I Krystle I ZOOM- Lunchtime yoga flow with Krystle: Reminder that it's ok to take a break! Midday movement to recalerbrate the mind, body and spirit. This practice does not require a mat but a chair will be helpful. We will sit in the chair or use it for balance. A chair without arms is best.

5-5:45pm I Mel I ZOOM- Dance: Join Mel for an easy to follow dance class.

6-6:45pm I Mukta I ZOOM - Quick greens cooking demo: We know - you’d eat more leafy greens if you knew how to cook them. Leafy greens (especially the dark ones) are anti-inflammatory, liver-supportive and chockful of essential vitamins, minerals and fiber. Join this session to learn the basics of cooking leafy greens and making them irresistibly delish!
