May is Mental Health Awareness Month — a reminder that caring for ourselves is part of staying engaged with the world, not a retreat from it. This restorative session offers simple, accessible tools for stress reduction and emotional balance, leaving you feeling more grounded and refreshed.

We'll begin with guided somatic breathwork — gentle breathing techniques and body awareness to release tension, quiet the mind, and regulate the nervous system. This will flow into a crystal singing bowl sound bath, where soothing tones and vibrations create a peaceful soundscape for deep relaxation. Throughout, you'll be guided through body scanning and meditation to help you fully settle.

Please eat your last meal a few hours beforehand so you arrive comfortable during the breathing practice. Bring anything that helps you rest on the floor — a yoga mat, padding, pillow, or eye covering. One blanket will be provided; limited yoga mats may be available.

**This class will be a bi-lingual experience in both Spanish and English**

Mayo es el Mes de Concientización sobre la Salud Mental — un recordatorio de que cuidarnos a nosotros mismos es parte de mantenernos presentes en el mundo, no una manera de alejarnos de él. Esta sesión restaurativa ofrece herramientas sencillas y accesibles para reducir el estrés y equilibrar las emociones, dejándote con una sensación de mayor tranquilidad y bienestar.

Comenzaremos con respiración somática guiada — técnicas suaves de respiración y conciencia corporal para liberar la tensión, calmar la mente y regular el sistema nervioso. Esto dará paso a un baño de sonido con cuencos de cristal cantantes, donde tonos y vibraciones relajantes crean un paisaje sonoro de paz para una relajación profunda. Durante toda la sesión, se te guiará a través de un escaneo corporal y meditación para ayudarte a asentarte por completo.

Por favor come tu última comida unas horas antes de llegar, para que estés cómodo/a durante la práctica de respiración. Trae lo que necesites para descansar en el piso — un tapete de yoga, cojín, almohada o antifaz. Se proporcionará una cobija; puede haber tapetes de yoga disponibles en cantidad limitada.
